艾德從愛情裡學到的許多教訓大抵是集結成這張 "x" 了
可以說 "+" 的時期艾德純真簡單一些，愛情只說到一個人
但 "x" 裡就不只關於一個人給艾德的愛情故事了；有好有壞
下面還是小提一下這首歌的八卦囉

嗯，故事女主角不言而喻……
這個採訪的 4:25 開始提到 Ellie Goulding
如果聽力還可以就聽看看，有講到上面的牽手照
然後其實也看得出來 Ed 聽到主持人講 Ellie 的時候 Ed 還是滿關心的
不過從這首歌的視角看來 Ed 還是滿可憐的，儘管這是一首洩憤之歌
以下節錄 Billboard 2014/4/7 的採訪文章
The story in "Don't" is 100 percent true. I could have gotten nastier — there was more sh*t that I didn't put in. I was seeing someone for a bit of time, and then they ended up physically involved with one of my friends in the same hotel that we were staying in, while I was downstairs. And I feel like: Treat people how you want to be treated.
"Don't" 這首歌的事情是百分之百真實發生的。我甚至能再說的更糟糕，有很多事情我沒有寫進去。我那時和某個人交往一段時間，然後事情最後變成她和我其中一個朋友，在我們待的酒店裡面發生關係，那時候我就在樓下；我只想說，己所不欲勿施於人。
以及 2015/10/31 在 fuse 的採訪影片中 Ed 說：
"'Don't' is just a song that’s close to the bone and definitely opened up a door that I probably shouldn't have opened up. [...] I just won't say who it's about because... I mean everyone, everyone fucking knows anyway. But like I just won't say who it's about cause it's quite a negative song."
"Don't" 就是一首一針見血、直接的歌，而我也肯定是打開了一扇我本來不該打開的門。[…] 我不會說這首歌是關於誰的，因為… 我想所有人，大家都他媽還是知道了；但不管怎樣我不會說出口是誰的，因為這就是一首很負面的歌。
大家都知道了。
真心覺得當藝人要承受內幕被挖出來的壓力是辛苦的
然而這件讓艾德難過的事情卻也造就出一首好歌，不知道是好是壞

＞"she's singing" 這句看起來不是銜接在副歌而是銜接上一句，因副歌是直接跳脫主歌的故事，直接唱 Ed 想發洩的心情，然後回到主歌再繼續講當時的事情。
