今天要介紹 twenty one pilots 收錄在2011年專輯
- Regional At Best 中的 Forest (森林)
個人覺得這首真的很好聽很耐聽很悅耳！歌詞也很棒
但都沒有收進後來發行的Vessel跟Blurryface，覺得可惜
先從旋律說起；建議一開始聽可以先不要看歌詞
我覺得從前奏開始就有一種開車駛過森林小徑的清新感XD
而且這首歌是 twenty one pilots 的歌裡面比較少見的曲風
喜歡 twenty one pilots 的朋友一定要聽聽看
比較沒有詭譎陰暗、悲傷憂鬱的感覺，也比較不那麼搖滾，反而有股清新味兒
但翻完歌詞之後就覺得滿有感觸；其實跟 Stressed Out 要表達的東西有點相像
但相對這首 Forest 來說，Stressed Out 聚焦在現實無奈感比較多
Forest 則是聚焦在過去的美好和不願改變的祈求
這樣說可能還是很抽象XD 還是看歌詞體會比較快啦哈哈

這首歌 Forest 森林 代表了心中一塊淨土
就像屬於自己的小宇宙 小小王國 裡面裝著不被汙染的靈魂
副歌唱出對這座森林的想念
主歌跟Bridge的rap唱出不願接受的殘忍事實：
＂其實自己就是抹滅過去自己的那個人＂
這同時也讓我想到五月天 盛夏光年中的一句歌詞：
＂長大難道是人必經的潰爛？＂

註
*1：tree house (樹屋)代表童年的純真美好、包含那些他原本珍愛的事物。這個比喻在之後的歌曲 Stressed Out (難熬)也有運用到。
*2：這裡最後一句刻意另外翻成「燃燒」想表達兩個意涵：一是正面意涵的發光發熱（呼應歌詞字面意義）、二是親手將以前那些美好的事情燃燒殆盡（因為這一句的情緒是悲傷的）。
