Sia 在9/5釋出的，關於美國同志夜店槍擊案的新歌
我必須說，在我還不知道歌詞涵義之前我已經看著MV眼眶濕了
有人跟我一樣嗎T_T，覺得音樂跟畫面真的能無視語言的認知，傳達出它要傳達的東西...
所以就在情緒緊繃隨時都感覺要掉淚的狀況下翻完了這首歌
The Greatest 這首歌的主題除了緊扣 Sia 一直以來的"堅強"心念之外（e.g.Elastic Heart）
［註，2001年專輯 Healing is Difficult 即因 Sia 的愛人, Dan 的去世而寫］
這首歌最重要的主題為發生於美國佛羅里達州奧蘭多的夜店槍殺案
"2016 Pulse nightclub mass shooting" 是美國有史以來死傷最慘重的槍擊案
發生於一間名為 "Pulse" 的同志夜店，造成49人死亡、53人重傷
而Sia這隻MV的舞者共有49位 即代表著在這次血案中49位罹難者
同時嫌犯的父親表述這次事件的起因無關宗教，只因恐同。
歐巴馬表示：「『今天對於同性戀社群（LGBT）來說是令人悲傷的一天』，『對於同性戀社群的襲擊就是對我們所有人的襲擊』」
因此在MV的開頭也可以看到Maddie把彩虹用極為悲傷的方式抹在臉上，就像眼淚
開始跟結尾刺耳的嗡鳴也讓人不禁聯想是否關於死亡？抑或是表達恐懼？悼念？
總之這是一隻悲傷的 MV
但 Sia 用他的歌聲告訴罹難者的家屬、親人、以及他們的愛人
就算失去另一半摯愛 也要勇敢走過來
就像她走出過去痛失愛人的陰霾
