他是 George Morgan，藝名 The Beach，來自倫敦的民謠歌手
說到民謠歌手，充滿感情的 troubadour (吟遊詩人)、每一個顫音總是充滿了故事
說到民謠歌手，大家都會想起了 Hozier、Rhodes 或是 James Bay
George Morgan 也不例外是一個聲音渾厚又細膩的音樂人
過了兩年的駐唱生涯，直至簽進 RCA Records 後，
2015年二月他才發行了個人第一首單曲 'Thieves'
之後也發行了一張EP - 'Colours'（或兩張？我不確定 'Maybe?' 算不算EP不過他有四首歌）
然後才是這次介紹的歌曲，去年2016七月發行的 'Geronimo'
充滿力量和夏日狂熱的 MV 讓人在這次寒流裡稍微暖一點XD
uplifting、powerful、以及 anthemic chorus，讓人聽著聽著心情都明朗了起來
但沒有聽過 Geronimo 的一定開始問號問號，什麼是 'Geronimo' ?
Geronimo 是印第安人中的一名傳奇戰士及阿帕契族的領導人，有點類似莫那魯道的感覺XD
總之就是因為當時美國的政策，和墨西哥發生的一些衝突，Geronimo 帶領族人反抗，可謂民族英雄
而後來戰場上，Geronimo 變成是傘兵跳進戰場中會喊的一句話，
形同壯膽，也可以說是勇氣的代名詞；
演變至今，從高處跳下都可以大喊 "Geronimo!" 以表一種激動的心情
關於這首歌，The Beach 說：
"Geronimo is a feel good song about being in a bad situation, and then someone or something comes along and helps you rise above it. The song stands for taking a leap of faith."
「Geronimo 是一首在逆境中仍充滿希望的歌曲，某個人或某件事會帶著你並幫助你克服一切困難 (rise above=overcome)；這首歌代表著一種，放手一搏的無畏信念 (a leap of faith: believing something that is not easily believed)。」
