2016 The X Factor第十三季冠軍出爐！就是封面上這位深情俊美的Matt Terry啦～

這位唱功「細膩」的Matt Terry在比賽中唱的好幾首歌曲都讓我雞皮疙瘩

對就是強調細膩，不只是氣勢，Matt Terry的歌聲嚴格說起來是不算厚的

（應該吧，每個人意見不同不要生氣XD 或許是現場收音的關係bla blah）

Matt的歌聲是帶點憂鬱跟滿滿情感又乾淨俐落的唱腔

讓我聽了好幾首他在X factor的表演之後越來越愛他的聲音

尤其是Take Me Home跟Writing's On The Wall（底下有延伸分享♥）

但我必須老實說，其實我沒有在follow X factor

是因為這次翻譯的歌曲我才認識他的

這首在12/11釋出的，超應景的"When Christmas Comes Around"

是他個人debut首發單曲，非常聖誕節的編曲，旋律脫俗又抒情

但歌詞...實在很寂寞啊XD 寂寞的男人在白雪皚皚的十二月想起了曾經的愛人...

本應是陪伴家人和愛人的溫暖聖誕節，在歌詞裡卻特別的令人哀傷

翻著翻著都跟著心酸了起來，尤其是Bridge的部分

　所以我要痛快的乾一杯再唱一句

　聖誕節就快到了呢...　

...太難過啦 ;-; 實在太適合在聖誕節沒有伴陪的我了

除此之外我還要窩在家裡趕學校3D模型作業...!%^&$*%&（怨念好重

另外，值得一提的是，寫這首歌的人就是寫出2016葛萊美Grammy

Song of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance雙獎項的歌曲

經典情歌"Thinking Out Loud"的組合，Ed Sheeran與Amy Wadge哦～

難怪就覺得有種似曾相識的感覺，原來就是Ed的流暢情歌感呢

歌詞註解：

Snow and rain, wiped away

風霜雨雪就算散去

I can't keep my eyes on the road

我依然看不清眼前的路口

＞承接前面put the headlights on車頭燈打開，以及後面driving home，故在這裡wiped away英式雨刷把擋風玻璃上的雪跟水刷掉的動作；有點難翻所以用了稍微抽象概括的動詞以免破壞中文辭雅。

You and I, heated by the flicker of a lighter glow

你和我因為燈火閃爍而點燃的心痛

＞heated有幾種意思：一是加溫、溫暖的；二是生氣、煩躁、被惹怒；三是熱烈的、情勢高漲的。在這裡我並不確定原作詞想表達哪一種意思，於是我想綜合第一與第二種意思；一是可能在車上想起兩人之間的回憶，而感到heated，回憶湧現與城市燈火的景象交錯，讓胸口發燙；二是可能描述當時兩人的爭吵，the flicker of a lighter glow也可能是形容兩人之間不愉快的回憶或是使兩人產生衝突的某些因素。因這整首歌都尚未看到網友為歌詞下註解，若個人理解上有誤還請不吝告知！

那些失去生活意義的人們

＞down-and-out在康橋字典的意思是"having no luck, no money, and no opportunities"，例如：a down-and-out loser，或，「Nobody loves you when you're down and out.」。

＞broken可以形容受到創傷的人，心碎而頹喪的人等等；lay-about（or layabout）指的是失去工作、沒有熱忱、動力跟目標的人。
