Ruby，top 早期音樂中我一直很愛的一首歌
這首歌是 Tyler 為了一個唐氏症(Down Syndrome)女孩寫的
他在教堂裡（Tyler 跟 Josh 都會去的教堂）看到這個帶著缺陷微笑的小女孩 Ruby
突然地被感動到，因此有了靈感寫了這首歌
如是說「生命鬥士都是上帝派來的天使」
而 Ruby 這個名字本身是紅寶石的意思，令我聯想到可貴的、值得愛護的人事物
然後我不太想直翻露比，有點破壞原本這名字優美的感覺XD
並且我要特別說一下的是這首編曲模式真的也很令人由衷佩服！
因為一直以來熟悉的歌曲形式多為 ACAC 或 ACACBC 或 AACAC(BC)
(我用 C 當 Chorus，B 當 Bridge 感覺比較好懂 XD，A 就是 Verse)
但 Tyler 在寫歌的時候還滿常跳脫這種制式寫法！非常羨慕他腦袋裡寫歌的才華><
((回頭看之前自己寫過的詞都是 ACACBC...>_>
我自己覺得這首歌有一種，既然她都能這麼快樂，我還有什麼理由不快樂的訴說
而且小孩子的笑容真的就是像歌詞裡說的 如天使一般讓人得到救贖
有時在路上偶然看到純真的孩子玩起來，就會不禁想起過去的自己
原來曾經也是那麼快樂的啊……
說到小孩子，剛好發現 Tyler 跟 Josh 小時候的照片XD
太可愛啦根本沒有變嘛(?)
Josh是自帶紅色眼影嗎XDDD P的很像

*1：從"pink turned to red"代表她和其他女孩的不同，代表她的獨一無二，不像一般刻版印象中女孩就是粉紅色、男孩就是藍色等，並且跟"Ruby"這個名字的含意有所呼應；另外有網友認為紅色表達一種刺激，因為沒有父母希望自己的孩子是帶有缺陷的，這裡的"red"也可以想成是Ruby誕生的時候，她父母親緊張焦慮的心。
