Yo, 這首Fairly Local是Blurryface專輯中的主打
（這裡重新提一下 Blurryface是Tyler內在的不安黑暗人格代表）
但是登上排行榜的卻是Ride跟Stressed Out XD
跟歌詞裡講到 這首不會是主流人群喜愛的歌
不會在電台上播放的 形成一個有趣的巧合哈哈
翻這首過程真的好氣又好笑
因為先看過官方的中文翻譯MV了，所以就把地頭蛇直接沿用了～
地頭蛇：典故出自西遊記，強龍不壓地頭蛇：比喻實力強大者也難對付當地的勢力
地頭蛇則指「在當地有勢力的欺壓人民的惡霸。或比喻本地有一定能量的人物。」
從歌詞涵義來看，地頭蛇這個詞用的真的很恰當
而且我想破頭也想不出來要怎麼用中文表達 "fairly local"...
老大、角頭、地主，都極難聽 ˊ_>ˋ
因為這首歌要表達的有點多
所以下面開始解釋一下歌詞涵義：
"I'm fairly local, I've been around"
我想可以理解成 Tyler 就是我們的 "fairly local"
率領(?)著一群 the skeleton clique
而"I've been around"則可以理解成他就在我們身邊
當我們遭遇困難 他(的音樂)就會現身助我們一臂之力
然後我要說官方翻譯「到處瞎混」到底是尛啦ww
"I've seen the streets you're walking down"
這句把人們 (或專指the clique) 所經歷的悲傷、黑暗的事
比喻成"street" 同時闡述這些黑暗都不會是只有你一個人懂的
這個概念跟 Migraine(偏頭痛) 的歌詞類似 XD
Genius有引用一段 Tyler 採訪時談論有關於上述概念的文字

重點就是 Tyler 跟 Josh 在巡迴時領悟到
其實很多人都有一樣的問題
很多人都是借助音樂的力量來度過一些難過的時期
"I'm fairly local, good people now"
很明顯從字面上就是改邪歸正
但深究Tyler從第一句就開始表達的事情
之所以是"good people"是因為他用音樂幫助了很多人
當然，也包括他自己
就像他之前提過的，他寫歌的原因之一是因為從音樂中可以釋放負面情緒
所以我把後句翻成「浴火重生」：比喻經歷劫難而重新獲得生命或發現新的生命契機
我認為用來描述他和 Blurryface 的掙扎
用這個詞應該是行的通
最後不得不提的是！
整首歌一直有Blurryface亂入（不然怎麼是Blurryface專輯主打）
像是Verse 1跟Verse 2，是Blurryface跟Tyler的互嗆(?)
非常明顯是同樣的架構與句式，但語意完全相反！
不過比較不好解釋的地方是Bridge；Bridge的歌詞看起來很Blurryface
內容說的反而是top的音樂、以及the Clique是多麼獨特、詭譎
甚至有時候是不被大眾認同、接受的
並且
第一次Bridge是Tyler的聲音
第二次Bridge卻變成Blurryface那個很deep的詭異聲音
嗯... 我也不知道為什麼T-T 可能是blurryface的漸進登場 (啥
題外話 : 官方中文有一句竟然能翻出「舞出拿手真我風采」讓我實在無法招架噴笑
