OneRepublic繼2016帶著第一首新單曲Wherever I go回歸之後
第二首--揉合電音和磅礡氣勢的單曲-- Kids (孩子)
也在昨天(2016/08/12)發佈囉～
從約莫一個禮拜前官方在推特釋出消息開始就一直在期待XD
進入歌詞之前先講一下專輯好了
這張名為"Oh My My"的專輯
是OneRepublic的第四張錄音室專輯(studio album)
預計會在今年秋天10/7發行 距離2013年的專輯Native也是有一段時間了~
目前已知會跟Pharrell還有Peter Gabriel合作
專輯音樂風格將會是大眾搖滾、福音音樂風格與一些舞曲導向的綜合
而專輯名稱的來由也滿有趣
他們原本想從歌曲中找一首歌名當專輯名稱 但卻找不到適合的
後來Ryan的某個朋友聽了他們的專輯 說了一句"Oh my my!"
而這句話似乎是有點年代的說法 Ryan認為這句話其實滿有意義的就拿來當專輯名稱囉

這首Kids的內容主題是nostalgia
nostalgia是名詞 意思是對往事的懷舊情感
我個人很喜歡這種題材
之前也翻了兩首有關於nostalgia的歌XD (twenty one pilots的Stressed Out跟Forest)
可能是人老了就會有這種感慨唉 (你還是學生啊喂

@OneRepublic: I’ve played “Kids” for 15-year-olds and they get all emotional about when they were 12. People in their 20s or 30s and think about being 19. Nostalgia strikes at any age.
「我唱這首歌給15歲的歌迷聽，他們被感動因為他們想到他們12歲的時候；而那些20幾歲30幾歲的人就會想到他們19歲的時光。所以說，念舊的傷感是不分年紀的。」
